Kelly Oakes started their career in 2005 as a Technical Support employee at FastChannel. Kelly then moved on to Insight Direct in 2006, where they became a Technical Support Manager and worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, Kelly worked as a Database Administrator at Pearson Education. In 2012, they joined Brightcove as a Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer and steadily progressed within the company, holding positions such as Tier 2 Technical Support Manager, Director of Technical Support, and Senior Director of Technical Support.
Kelly Oakes attended Mount Holyoke College from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Religion. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue further education at Harvard University from 2002 to 2004, completing a Master of Theological Studies degree with a specialization in Theology.
