Senior Engineering Manager at BrightEdge

Lalith Maddali has a comprehensive work experience spanning over a decade. Lalith is currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at BrightEdge since March 2020. Prior to this, from April 2019 to March 2020, they held the position of Head Of Engineering at Acoustic.

Lalith spent a significant portion of their career at IBM, where they held various roles. From September 2015 to April 2019, they worked as a Sr. Engineering Manager, leading a team of 14 engineers and overseeing the development and maintenance of Tealeaf, a Customer Experience Management analytics software. In this role, they collaborated with customers, support, and field engineers to prioritize incoming requests and mentored the team.

Before that, from September 2012 to September 2015, Lalith served as a Senior Software Engineer at IBM Tealeaf. Lalith directed a team and led projects to enhance the stability, serviceability, and globalization of the Replay technologies in SaaS, C++, and Javascript. Additionally, they fulfilled the role of a Certified Scrum Master and Scrum Lead for the Replay team, facilitating agile activities.

Lalith's journey with IBM Tealeaf began as a Software Engineer in June 2011, working on various projects across Frontend, Backend, and Mobile domains. Lalith took on responsibilities such as developing a native automation framework for iOS applications and creating a C#.NET library to capture and replay user experiences on Silverlight applications during their time as a Software Engineer and Software Engineer Intern from June 2011 to September 2012 and May 2010 to May 2011, respectively.

Lalith also gained experience as a Student Assistant and Web Developer at the University of San Francisco from August 2009 to May 2011, where they developed Python scripts, built the department website using Ektron CMS, and served as a Teaching Assistant from January 2010 to May 2010.

Lalith Maddali completed their education with a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco, from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Lalith has obtained several certifications, including "Containers, K8s and Istio on IBM Cloud," "Getting Started with Containers on IBM Cloud," and "Getting started with Microservices with Istio and IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service" from IBM in January 2019. Lalith also holds a certification in "Jeff Weiner on Managing Compassionately" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in February 2017, and a "Certified Scrum Master" certification from the Scrum Alliance, earned in June 2014.
