Brendan Nerdal

Brendan Nerdal is an accomplished professional in corporate relations, strategy, and public policy, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Relations at Brighter Super, where responsibilities include Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), government relations, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this role, Brendan was the Head of Corporate Affairs and Strategy at Inland Rail, overseeing governmental relationships for a significant rail infrastructure program. Brendan's extensive experience also includes advisory roles within the Australian Government, where strategic communications and fiscal policy were pivotal. Brendan has contributed to major initiatives such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the Public Service Modernisation Fund, demonstrating expertise across multiple sectors including finance, economic policy, and environmental issues. Brendan holds a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting, along with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from The University of Queensland.
