Alex Brierley

Alex Brierley is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Co-Head of Octopus Renewables at Octopus Investments since February 2015, where responsibilities include leading energy strategy and institutional funds. Previously, Alex Brierley held the position of Director and Solar PV Corporate Finance Lead at EY from September 2000 to January 2015, overseeing the Solar PV Corporate Finance business, and also served as Senior Manager in auditing. Additionally, Alex Brierley briefly worked in business development at Mathieson Capital in 2011. Academic qualifications include a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Bristol and earlier education at Winchester College and Brambletye.
