Paul Latham

Paul Latham is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. As the Founder and CEO of Fern Trading Limited since April 2010, Paul has led the £3bn company to become a significant player in the UK solar energy sector, developing renewable infrastructure and engaging in broadband projects for underserved communities. Furthermore, Paul held the position of Managing Director for Special Projects and New Product Development at Octopus Investments since May 2005, and previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Capital One. Additional leadership roles include Non-Executive Chairman positions at Jurassic Fibre and Melton Renewable Energy UK Ltd, as well as Managing Director at Pauleys, the UK’s largest fruit and vegetable company. Paul’s professional journey began in civil engineering with British Rail, followed by various audit and financial roles, supported by a BSc(Hons) in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London.
