Fangyi (Lulu) Xu

Sr Data Analyst, Technical Lead at Brightfield

Fangyi (Lulu) Xu has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Student Researcher at EXTREEMS-QED, where they developed models for a gene regulatory network. In 2016, they became a Graduate Researcher at Caltech, collaborating on experiments studying human monetary decisions. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Consultant at the World Bank Group, where they managed land conference correspondences and coordinated with various divisions. In 2019, they served as an Analytics Consultant at Rights and Resources Initiative, leading research on land claims and identifying opportunities for large projects. Since 2020, they have been employed at Brightfield as a Senior Data Analyst and Technical Lead. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in data analysis, research, project management, and coordination.

Fangyi (Lulu) Xu pursued their education with a strong focus on mathematics and neuroscience. Fangyi (Lulu) completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from William & Mary from 2012 to 2016. Later, they went on to obtain their Master's degree in Social and Decision Neuroscience (Neuroeconomics) from Caltech during the years 2016 to 2018.
