Esther Kaufman

Esther Kaufman is an actuarial professional currently serving as an Actuarial Associate and previously as an Actuarial Assistant at Brighthouse Financial since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Intern at Intac Actuarial Services, part of FuturePlan by Ascensus, from March 2021 to January 2022. Esther also worked as a Tutor at Independent Tutoring from September 2014 to December 2021 and as a Student Research Assistant at Queens College, where research focused on a mathematical model for the coin toss. Additionally, Esther gained engineering experience as a Prosthetic/Mechanical Engineering Intern at New York Rehabilitative Services in summer 2019. Esther holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics with a Physics concentration from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York, earned in 2021.
