Michael Psinakis

Michael Psinakis is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and expense management. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Brighthouse Financial since August 2017, Michael oversees an FP&A team responsible for budget and forecasting, expense management, and supports the monthly close process across 27 corporate departments. Prior to this role, Michael was a Corporate Vice President at New York Life Insurance Company from 2009 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing expense management initiatives and GAAP/statutory reporting, as well as producing a quarterly expense deck for executive leadership. From 2001 to 2008, Michael held various finance management positions at MetLife, focusing on enhancing accounting processes and supervising financial reporting for retirement and savings products. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business/Management from St. John's University.
