Arturo Alvarez

Arturo Alvarez is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the development and engineering of photovoltaic (PV) and PV+Storage projects. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Development Engineering at BrightNight since October 2024, Alvarez previously held leadership roles at Erthos, Inc., Clearway Energy Group, and NRG Energy, where skills in project development engineering and technical documentation were honed. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University was obtained in 2008. Alvarez's career highlights include managing large-scale solar projects, optimizing design and capital expenditure inputs, and overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
