Kapil Kasia

Kapil Kasia currently serves as the COO of COOBrightNight, responsible for overseeing all operating functions since March 2025. Prior to this role, Kapil held the position of COO - Solar, Wind & Hybrids at AmpIn Energy Transition from February 2022 to May 2024, managing all operational aspects and executing utility-scale solar projects. From October 2019 to February 2022, Kapil was the Regional Director of Business Development & Commercial at Vena Energy, focusing on the growth of the renewable portfolio in India and Southeast Asia. Earlier, as Vice President of Renewables at Sembcorp Industries Ltd from February 2012 to September 2019, Kapil drove renewable business growth in OECD countries, and also served as the Head of Investments at Sembcorp Green Infra Limited. Kapil began the career at Emergent Ventures Pvt Ltd as Head of Business & Project Development, emphasizing renewable energy projects. Kapil earned a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, in 2001.
