Anthony Kalume is an experienced professional in the cultural sector with a current role as a board member for the Culture East Sussex Board since February 2024. Additionally, Anthony serves as an Associate Curator at the Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft, specializing in curatorial and archival work, including negotiations for the repatriation of cultural artifacts. With a long-standing commitment to education, Anthony is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Brighton, delivering modules in creative writing and community practice. Active in various community initiatives, Anthony chairs @diversity_lewes and has contributed to Black History Month events across Sussex. Anthony's extensive background also includes roles as an independent advisor to Sussex Police and a community interpreter, alongside a celebrated career in music through Dj Task Productions.
