Rachel Scott

Substitute Discovery Room Aide at Brighton Memorial Library

Rachel Scott is a dedicated School Library Media Specialist currently serving at Victor Central Schools since September 2024, and previously at Sodus Jr/Sr High School from May 2023 to June 2024. With extensive experience in various roles within public libraries, including Youth Services Librarian Trainee at Webster Public Library, Rachel has developed strong expertise in managing youth collections and programming. Additional experience includes work as a Local History & Genealogy Library Assistant at Ogden Farmers' Library, as well as internships with the New York State Assembly and the Library of Congress, focusing on intergenerational learning. Rachel holds a Master's in School Librarianship from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in History & Political Science from SUNY Brockport.
