Lisa Hammitt

Lisa Hammitt is a 28-year veteran in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, with a track record of building $100M+ businesses. Lisa is currently the Global Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Data at VISA, sits on the board of directors for Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE: CCO), and chairs the board of Beseeq, Inc., an AI-driven start-up.

Before VISA and Beseeq, Lisa ran Watson at IBM and held senior positions in AI and Data at Salesforce and HP. She is an advisor to the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center and is a member of the Executive Committee for IEEE’s Privacy by Design workstream. Lisa is the primary inventor of a broad patent titled “Ontology-Driven Information System” and has other patents pending related to assessing engagement with digital advertising and deep learning using convolutional neural networks. She has degrees from UC Berkeley and has completed graduate-level AI coursework at Stanford and executive education at Harvard.
