Alan Jechort began their work experience in 2007 as a Software Development Intern at Affinity Global Solutions. Alan then worked as a Software Developer from January 2009 to March 2011 in the same company. From April 2011 to March 2014, Alan worked as a Software Engineer at Reeher, where they came up with software solutions for the Reeher Platform. Alan then took on the role of Software Engineer and Scrum Master from March 2014 to May 2015. Alan then became a Software Engineering Manager/Agile Coach at Reeher from May 2015 to May 2018.
In 2018, Alan joined Blackbaud as a Manager, Software Engineering from May 2018 to June 2019, and then became a Senior Manager, Software Engineering from July 2019 to March 2022.
Currently, Alan is working as the Director of Software Engineering at Brighton Science (formerly BTG Labs) since March 2022. Brighton Science is a global leader in surface intelligence and Alan is responsible for bringing visibility, data, and insights to mission-critical decisions for manufacturers.
Alan Jechort completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Web Design from North Dakota State University. Alan obtained this degree from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Certified Team Coach, Certified Scrum Master, and Certified Scrum Professional from the Scrum Alliance. Alan also has an ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) certification, obtained from an undisclosed institution at an unknown date.
