Jan Zizka has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jan co-founded Photoneo in 2013 and served as the CEO until October 2021. Photoneo specializes in robotic vision and intelligence using patented 3D technology. Prior to that, Jan worked as a Research Engineer at Micro-Epsilon from 2009 to 2013. Jan also worked as a Software Analyst/Developer at Datapac from 2006 to 2008. Currently, Jan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Brightpick, a company that offers AI-powered robots for warehouse automation.
Jan Zizka received a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave in 2007. Jan then went on to earn a PhD in Computer Vision from the same university between 2008 and 2012. In 2011, they also had a brief period of study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on Computational Cameras, Optics, and HCI.
