Sean Soun

Sean Soun has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sean currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Brightpoint, a role they started in November 2021. Alongside this position, they also work as a Human Resources Business Consultant as a freelancer. Prior to their current roles, Sean served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Legal Aid Society from January 2021 to November 2021. Before that, they worked at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, where they held two roles - Assistant Commissioner, Human Resources from December 2018 to January 2021, and Executive Director, Human Resources Operations from August 2016 to December 2018. Sean's previous experiences include working as the Health and Wellness Manager at The New York Public Library from March 2014 to July 2016, a Senior Human Resources Payroll Specialist at Bowery Residents' Committee from June 2012 to March 2014, and a Payroll/Human Resources Coordinator at Gene Juarez Salons & Spas from May 2005 to June 2011.

Sean Soun earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development and Management from New York University in 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Virtual Performance Reviews and Feedback from LinkedIn in September 2022, and in Leading Leaders from the Leadership Pipeline Institute in May 2022.
