Chris Mattinson

Chris Mattinson currently serves as the Interim Head of Innovation and has held various roles at Brightside since June 2017, including Head of Programmes and Partnerships Manager for Schools, where oversight of the Schools Network programme and management of partnerships with senior school leaders have been key responsibilities. Previous experience includes positions at The Student Engagement Partnership, Kent Union, and the Student Volunteer Network, with a strong focus on academic representation, project management, and volunteer coordination. Chris holds an MSc in Education, Power and Social Change from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature from the University of Kent, complemented by study at the University of California, Berkeley.
