Rebecca Viner

Rebecca Viner has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering.

Rebecca is currently employed at Brightside Health as a Software Engineer since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Uncommon Purpose as a Software Engineer from April 2022 to September 2022. Rebecca also worked at Traction on Demand as a Software Engineer from September 2021 to April 2022, and at Trineo Ltd as a Software Engineer from April 2021 to September 2021.

Rebecca has also contributed to the open-source project Reactime as a Software Engineer. Their work involved utilizing the React container pattern, implementing the flux architectural pattern, and building a cache of state and rendering time snapshots for performance data visualizations.

Before their software engineering roles, Rebecca worked at Codesmith as a Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021. Rebecca also served as a Substitute Teaching Assistant at the University of Denver, where they mentored female software engineers in full-stack web development.

In addition, Rebecca has experience outside of software engineering. Rebecca worked as a Purchasing Data Integrity Specialist at Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage from July 2017 to July 2018, where they automated purchase order procedures and resolved support tickets related to database sync errors. Prior to that, they worked as a Content Manager at Planet Cyclery from November 2016 to July 2017, where they developed protocols for mass product imports and updates, enhanced SEO and user experience, and created custom templates for marketing emails.

Rebecca Viner completed their Bachelor of Science degree at Clemson University from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's of Science degree at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2010 to 2013.
