Cassandra Casillas

Cassandra Casillas has two years of experience in laboratory analysis. From 2021 to present, they have been working as a Laboratory Analyst at Brightside Scientific Inc., where they analyze samples for Pesticides, Potency and Residual Solvents using GC-MS, LC-MS and GC-HS, and performs basic maintenance upkeep on all analytical equipment. From 2019 to 2021, Cassandra worked at Anresco Laboratories, where they held three roles: Laboratory Analyst, Laboratory Technician Supervisor, and Laboratory Technician. As a Laboratory Analyst, they analyzed pesticides samples via GC-MS, LC-MS and LC-MS/MS, and performed preventative and everyday maintenance of GC-MS and LC-MS instrumentation. As a Laboratory Technician Supervisor, they managed extraction room and laboratory technicians, trained new hires on sample storage and extraction techniques, and recorded and ordered inventory as needed. As a Laboratory Technician, they prepared and extracted samples of different matrixes for analysis, and kept track of samples and order storage following chain of custody.
