Principal Embedded Software Engineer at Brightskies

Ahmed Resho has a diverse work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. Ahmed started their career at the Arab Academy for Science & Technology (AAST) as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they taught lower level undergraduate courses in various subjects related to electromechanical systems and robotics.

After that, Ahmed joined Valeo as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they worked in the ECU Core Function (ECF) team in the Comfort & Driving Assistance product group. Ahmed primarily worked on BMW projects, focusing on implementing features related to the Ethernet AUTOSAR stack. This involved configuring the AUTOSAR Ethernet Stack, Communication Handler module (COMH), Error Handling module (ERRH), communication signals, and DTCs.

Most recently, Ahmed joined Brightskies as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Ahmed has been working as a software developer with Elektrobit (EB) on different projects. In their current role, they are working on the Volkswagen project (with Cariad), specifically on the AUTOSAR classic integration Framework (ACAF). Ahmed is also part of the VW.os micro team in EB, where they are involved in building software based on the AUTOSAR classic basic software stack. Ahmed is also working on Diagnostics and SFD plugin.

Throughout their work experience, Ahmed has consistently demonstrated their expertise in embedded software engineering and has worked on projects for renowned automotive companies like BMW, Daimler, and Volkswagen.

Ahmed Resho attended the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport from 2009 to 2011, where they earned their IGCSE degree in High School. From 2011 to 2016, they continued their education at the same institution and completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree, specializing in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
