Izik Kirshenbaum

Izik Kirshenbaum is a seasoned executive in the technology and energy sectors, currently serving as Chairman and CEO of BrightSource Energy since March 2021. Kirshenbaum has a strong entrepreneurial background, having co-founded and served as Chairman of Siklu, a leader in mmWave technology, from January 2008 to July 2022, and co-founded Vascure from May 2007 to December 2010. Previous experience includes leading the Broadband Wireless Division (WiMAX) at Intel and serving as Co-Founder, President, and CEO at Envara Inc. Kirshenbaum holds an M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. Cum Laude in the same field from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
