Omri Tamam

Omri Tamam has a diverse work experience ranging from their current role as an Algorithm Developer at BrightSource Energy to their previous positions as a Programming Mentor at the Cyber Education Center and a Platoon Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces. At the Cyber Education Center, they instructed teenagers in Java coding skills as part of an enrichment program. In their role as a Platoon Sergeant, Omri trained a combat bootcamp for a mixed-gender squad and managed a commanders' team of 40 soldiers at an operational base on the Israel-Egypt border.

Omri Tamam completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Cognitive Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Omri attended from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma of Education in Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
