Bobby Walters

Bobby Walters has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bobby currently holds the position of Head of Fiber Engineering and Construction at Brightspeed, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Fiber Engineering at Brightspeed from October 2022 to January 2023. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Director of Engineering and Construction at Lumen Technologies. Before that, they held the role of Senior Manager of Engineering and Construction at CenturyLink from 2011 to 2019. Bobby also worked as a Senior Lead Project Manager at Embarq Corporation from 2006 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Sprint, including Network Design Engineer, Network Planner, and Associate Network Engineer. Bobby started their career as an Intern/Lab Technician at PECO II in 1999.

Bobby Walters holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained between the years 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2006. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, which they completed at Ohio Northern University from 1999 to 2003.
