Brandon Gipson

Brandon Gipson M.A., C.T.A has extensive work experience in security and law enforcement. Brandon currently works as the Corporate Security Lead at Brightspeed since April 2023. Prior to that, they held various positions at Lumen Technologies, including Senior Security Analyst and Senior Regional Security Representative, where they oversaw workplace violence prevention, developed security policies, and managed security operations across multiple locations. Brandon also has experience in the public sector, having worked as a Police Commander, Police Sergeant, and Police Officer at the City of Greenwood Village. In these roles, they implemented strategic planning, coordinated security training, and conducted audits to enhance safety and security measures.

Brandon Gipson M.A., C.T.A has a Master of Arts degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from ASU Watts College of Public Service & Community Solutions. Brandon also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brandon has obtained certifications in areas such as Threat Assessment, Senior Management Policing, and Public Safety Leadership from various institutions including The Threat Assessment Group, Boston University, and the University of Denver. Brandon has also completed training in Public Safety Command & Supervision from Northwestern University.
