Brian Cooper

Brian Cooper is an accomplished IT leader currently serving as the VP of Infrastructure & Architecture at Brightspeed since March 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing digital and core technology infrastructure teams, implementing security infrastructure, and leading IT operations across various domains. Prior to Brightspeed, Brian held multiple leadership roles at Duke Energy Corporation over a 23-year period, including Director of IT Compliance & Enterprise Tools and Director of Critical Infrastructure & Operations, ensuring a robust IT framework and strong cybersecurity for a major utility provider. Brian's career began at CVG Airport in information technology roles, and education includes an MBA from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Eastern Kentucky University.
