Charles Reyes

Charles Reyes has significant experience in cybersecurity and information technology. Currently serving as the Director of IT Infra Security Operations at Brightspeed since January 2025, Reyes previously held the position of Cyber Security Operations Manager at Duke Energy Corporation from March 2019 to February 2025, overseeing the Operational Technology Security Operations Center and leading a team responsible for cyber threat investigation and response. Earlier roles at Duke Energy included Lead OT SOC Analyst and Lead IT Security Analyst, where Reyes managed vulnerability management efforts for critical infrastructure. Prior to this, experience included working as an Information Security Analyst at Honeywell Technology Solutions, focusing on Information Assurance for the US Department of Defense, and as Director of Outside Services at Linville Resorts. Reyes holds a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Systems CyberSecurity from Penn State World Campus and a BSBA in Computer Information Systems from Appalachian State University.
