Laura Batten

Laura Batten is an experienced HR professional currently serving as an HR Business Partner at Brightspeed since January 2023. Prior to this role, Laura worked as the Senior Human Resources Director at the American Cancer Society from April 2006 to July 2022, where responsibilities included supporting 2,500 staff nationwide and advising C-suite executives. Earlier experience includes serving as an HR Business Partner at Turner Broadcasting System, where Laura provided senior-level HR support and was the first Training Manager at CNN. Laura holds a BA in Psychology from Davidson College and an MBA in General Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
