Kathryn Eckburg

Kathryn Eckburg currently serves as a Receptionist at Brightstar Capital Partners, a private equity firm, since January 2024. Prior to this role, Kathryn was an Americorps Member at City Year Chicago from August 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included serving as a Student Success Coach for 9th grade students to aid in academic and social-emotional growth. In early 2023, Kathryn participated as a Student Fellow at Braven, collaborating with a team to analyze marketing strategies. Kathryn gained customer service experience at Prairie Street Brewing Co. from June 2020 to August 2022, and earlier was a Receptionist at DirectCare.MD in 2017, managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. Kathryn is a graduate of Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, and has completed studies at both Nottingham Trent University and Rock Valley College.
