Bill McIntosh, CTS-D, RCDD, PMP, has had a long and successful career in the audiovisual and technology industries. In 2003, they began their career as a Project Manager/Engineer at MCSi. In 2005, they moved on to Carnegie Mellon University as the Director of Technology for the MSCF Program, where they were responsible for all technology for the program in Pittsburgh and their branch campus in New York City. In 2007, they founded and became President of Synergy Media Group LLC, a customer-centric audiovisual design and installation company. In 2009, they took on the role of Vice President of the Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club. In 2014, they became President and CEO of BrightTree Studios, where they took a holistic consulting approach from the design and development stages all the way through to remotely managing the AV systems. In 2022, they became a Board Member of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.
Bill McIntosh has an extensive educational background. Bill obtained a Bachelor of Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003, a Master of Multimedia Technology from Duquesne University in 2008, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business in 2011. In 2014, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the course “Scaling Up Without Screwing Up”. In 2017, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management for the course “Internet of Things: Business Implications and Opportunities”. Bill also holds a number of certifications, including Certified Technology Specialist from InfoComm International in 2013, Certified Technology Specialist - Design from AVIXA in 2018, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2020, and Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) from BICSI in 2021. Bill also holds a DMC-D certification from Crestron.
