Alona D. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and human resources. Currently serving as a Human Resources Coordinator and previously as a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist at BrightView since June 2022, Alona has developed strong skills in recruitment and talent management. Alona's teaching experience includes roles as a Fifth Grade Teacher at Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School and Richard Allen Academy, and a Second Grade Teacher at Franklin County Public Schools, where responsibilities included curriculum development, classroom management, and effective communication with families and staff. Additionally, Alona served as an Admissions Recruiter at Kentucky State University, and held tutoring and program instructor positions focused on academic support and mentorship for underserved youth. Alona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Kentucky State University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services at Union College.
