Deborah Sweeney has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Deborah is currently employed at Brightview Senior Living as the Vibrant Living Director at the Brightview Fair Oaks location. Prior to this, they worked as a Photographer at Greenwood Photography, specializing in family, high school senior, and military portraiture, as well as large events like weddings and military balls. Deborah also managed the Life Enrichment department at Retirement Unlimited Inc, where they designed and implemented daily activities, classes, events, outings, and entertainment for residents. Deborah has experience as a substitute elementary school teacher at Lake Ridge Elementary School, where they effectively managed classrooms and implemented lesson plans. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Support Assistant at Encore Support Systems and as a Reading Resource Aid at Lake Ridge Elementary School, where they created lesson plans, implemented learning labs, and administered and analyzed student test data.

Deborah Sweeney's education history begins with their attendance at Miami Dade College from 1983 to 1985. During this time, they pursued an Associate in Arts degree with a field of study in Fine and Studio Arts/Photography. Following this, from 1986 to 1988, they studied Fine Arts and Art Education at Florida International University without receiving a degree. Later, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1991.
