Sam Burk

Sam Burk is an experienced professional in category management and procurement, currently serving as the Director of Category Management at BrightView Landscapes since August 2011. In this role, Sam leads the development and execution of enterprise-wide category strategies across multiple business units, overseeing a team of category managers focused on cost savings, supplier performance, and supply continuity. Prior to this, Sam held positions as the National Procurement Manager, where category management for key spend areas was emphasized, and as Key Account Manager at Burkholder Brothers. Sam also has a background as an Account Manager for Preferred Landscaping and was the Owner of the same company from 1999 to 2008. Sam holds a BA in Organizational Management from The University of Arizona Global Campus, completed in December 2021.
