Andrew Harte

Andrew Harte has over 16 years of work experience in finance and business analysis. Andrew is currently employed as the Chief Financial Officer at Brightwater Engineers, where they are responsible for refining the company's strategy and providing improved information for decision making. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Couplands Bakeries, where they played a diverse role in financial stewardship, strategy development, and implementing change across the business. Before that, Andrew worked as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Synlait Milk Limited, where they provided commercial insight and developed long-range plans for business growth. Andrew also held various finance business partner roles at Coles, where they improved reporting, partnered with different departments, and contributed to cost control initiatives. Earlier in their career, Andrew worked at OAMPS Insurance Brokers as the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and at Tesco as a Business Analyst and Financial Accountant. Andrew began their career as an Accountant at HFK Limited.

Andrew Harte attended the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting and Information Systems. Following this, from 2004 to 2007, they attended the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants to pursue a qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
