Shane Blazek

Shane Blazek has held various positions in the technology industry throughout their career. Shane began as a Software Engineer at Harris Corporation in 2007, where they developed new features for business applications. After that, they joined Lexmark International, Inc. in 2010 as a Software Architect/Manager. In this role, they led a global team in creating a web client and integration framework used by over 150 developers. Shane also designed and developed a modular system for rapid feature addition.

In 2016, Blazek joined Mylo, a Lockton Company, as the Vice President of Engineering. Shane was responsible for architecting and coding the initial platform using Node.js, React.js, Postgres, and AWS. During their tenure, they played a key role in the development of Mylo's technology stack.

From 2021 to 2023, Blazek served as the Head of Technology at Vouch Insurance's Vouch Specialty division. In this position, they contributed to the technological aspects of Vouch's insurance services.

Currently, Blazek holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Brightway Insurance, starting in 2023.

Shane Blazek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Technology from the University of Central Missouri.
