Aaron Franco has been working in the tech industry since 2009. Aaron started their career as the CTO and Principal Architect at Click Slide, where they led a team of four researchers to obtain a patent. In 2016, they became the Principal Architect of AI chatbot at CheapOair, where they streamlined communication and development between two engineering teams. Aaron then worked as the Principal Engineer and Architect at Nimblechat, where they bootstrapped recruitment by forming strategic partnerships with local code academies. In 2017, they were the Founding Member and Management of the Crypto Working Group, leading the group in project management process and organization. Aaron also worked as the Community Leader at Scaling Hope, a community organization that matches technologists with computer science after-school programs. In the same year, they became the Director of Engineering and Lead Architect at Rocketship Apps. In 2018, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Solutions Architect and Solutions Architect. In 2021, they were the Vice President of Engineering and Development at CrossBorder Solutions. Currently, they are the Platform Engineering and SysOps Leadership at brightwheel.

Aaron Franco's education history includes a BA in Cinema from Binghamton University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2001. Aaron also self-taught Japanese between 2003 and 2010. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and R3, including a Corda Certified Developer from R3 in January 2019, an SME Specialty from AWS in May 2020, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS in December 2018, an AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty from AWS in November 2018, an AWS Certified Security - Specialty from AWS in October 2018, an AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty from AWS in September 2018, an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional from AWS in September 2018, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from AWS in August 2018, an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from AWS in May 2018, an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from AWS in April 2018, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate from AWS in April 2018.
