Alyssa G.

Alyssa G. has a wide range of work experience beginning in 2013. Alyssa started as a 6th Grade Special Education Reading Teacher at MISSION ACHIEVEMENT AND SUCCESS SCHOOL DISTRICT, then moved on to Albuquerque Public Schools as a 5th Grade Teacher in 2014. In 2015, they were a 3rd Grade Teacher at KNOVA Learning, followed by Oregon Trail School Dist 46 as a 5th Grade Teacher/ Team Lead in 2016. In 2018, they were a 5th Grade Teacher/Grade Level Team Lead at The American School of Guatemala, and in 2020 they were a 4th Grade Teacher at Rio Rancho Public Schools. In 2021, Alyssa G. took on two roles; a SaaS Team Lead at brightwheel and a Founder, Coach at TeacherPivot, which was designed to provide educators with resources to pivot into a fulfilling role outside of a school setting.

Alyssa G. has an education history that includes a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in ESOL from Concordia University-Portland, obtained between 2015 and 2016, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of New Mexico, obtained between 2006 and 2013.
