Gavin Butler

Gavin Butler has been working in the software engineering industry since 2000. Gavin began their career as a Service Engineer at Envestnet | Yodlee, and then moved up to Lead Engineer and Software Engineer. In 2006, they joined SendMe, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and was later promoted to Director of Technical Operations. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Joyus, Inc. as Chief Architect and Software Architect. In 2016, they joined Shippo as Director of Engineering, Principal Software Engineer, and Lead Site Reliability Engineer. Gavin is currently working as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Brightwheel since 2023.

Gavin Butler attended The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
