Kathryn (Katy) Close

Kathryn (Katy) Close has a diverse work experience. Kathryn (Katy) began their career in 2016 as a First Grade Teacher at Teach For America. In 2018, they transitioned to IXL Learning, where they held the roles of Educational Sales Consultant and Educational Sales Representative. In 2019, they joined Wonderschool, where they served as Head of State Partnerships, Enterprise Account Executive, Manager, Sales & Partnerships, and Partnership Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at brightwheel as a Business Development - Enterprise.

Kathryn (Katy) Close attended the University of Richmond from 2012 to 2016, where they studied Leadership Studies and Psychology. Kathryn (Katy) then went on to Southern Methodist University, where they earned their Master of Education in 2018 with a GPA of 4.0.
