Kelsey Laird has a diverse work experience. Kelsey began their career in 2010 as a Special Education Teacher at LeRoy Junior High School, where they designed and implemented individualized educational programs for each student, employed diverse teaching techniques to promote active learning, and administered assessments and utilized data collection to guide instructional practices. In 2013, they joined Morgan Stanley as a Customer Success Manager, Sales Development Manager, and Sales Development Representative. Later that same year, they took on the role of Grant Coordinator at Dreams for Kids, where they researched and authored a successful grant proposal that won $25,000 from State Farm Insurance, designed and facilitated a social media campaign to assist with grant promotion, and collaborated with sponsors to organize adaptive water-ski event details and media coverage. In 2020, Kelsey joined brightwheel as the Onboarding Team Lead and FinTech Onboarding Specialist.
Kelsey Laird obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Special Education and Teaching from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville between 2006 and 2010. In June 2015, they obtained a Series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Kelsey is also in the process of obtaining a Series 66 certification from FINRA.
