Nicholas Meriano has been working in the tech industry since 2018, starting as a Freelance Web Developer. In 2016, they began working as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they processed samples, classified results, and recorded findings related to antibiotic resistance in a variety of bacterial strains, as well as preparing arrays to be used in experiments and maintaining specialized lab equipment. Nicholas then worked as a Laboratory Technician at Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard from 2016-2019. In 2019, they became a Software Engineer at Ephesoft, and they currently hold the role of Senior Software Engineer, Frontend at brightwheel, a position they have held since 2022.
Nicholas Meriano attended St. Stephen's School from 2008 to 2012 where they obtained an International Baccalaureate. After that, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2012 to 2016 where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.
