Fara Remtulla has a diverse and extensive work experience. Fara is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Brigit, where they help everyday Americans improve their financial well-being through transparent and fair financial tools. Prior to this role, Fara worked at a leading GCC Bank as the Head of Digital Delivery, contributing to the bank's transformation into a prominent digital player in the region. Fara also co-founded BankCLEARLY, a digital neobank startup, where they played a crucial role in strategic direction, financial management, and investor relations. Fara gained valuable experience in corporate strategy, digital strategy, and innovation as the Vice President of Group Strategy at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup, where they focused on business planning, development, and strategic initiatives. Fara began their professional journey as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company.
Fara Remtulla obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General from Columbia Business School between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, Fara completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Engineering at McGill University from 1992 to 1996.
