Maarten Boone

Maarten Boone has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the CEO & Co-Founder of BRIKL, a leading ecommerce software platform specializing in microstores. In this position, Maarten focuses on simplifying and automating the selling of custom products.

Prior to BRIKL, Maarten worked at Hanesbrands Inc. from 2003 to 2016. During their tenure, they held various roles ranging from Director of Supply Chain Support Services to Senior Manager of Supply Chain Europe. In these positions, they built and led teams in multiple locations across Asia, managing product development, sourcing, logistics, and data. Maarten also implemented efficient transportation networks and introduced new styles to the company's supply chain.

Before joining Hanesbrands Inc., Maarten worked as a Consultant at Capco from 2000 to 2002.

Maarten Boone began their education at Jan-Van-Ruusbroeck in 1989, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this time period. Maarten then went on to Katholieke Universiteit Brussel from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Business engineering at KU Leuven from 1997 to 2000. Later, in 2002 to 2003, Maarten attended Cornell University, where they earned a Master's degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.
