Business Development and Project Manager at Briljent

Cindy Hopkins has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Cindy began their career in 1992 as a Classroom Teacher and held various roles within School Corporations and Districts until 2008. During this time, they also served as a Mentor Teacher, Student Teacher Sponsor, and Tutor.

In 1997, Cindy started working with various State, Regional, and Local Level Organizations, focusing on Curriculum Training and Research Studies. Cindy continued in this field until 2006.

From 2008 to 2012, Cindy worked as a Diagnostic, Science, and Social Studies Assessment Specialist at the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE). Their responsibilities included managing the Diagnostic/Interim/Formative Assessment Grant for Grades K-8, Algebra I, and English 10. Cindy also played a pivotal role in reviewing Science and Social Studies assessments for the Indiana Statewide Test for Educational Progress Plus (ISTEP+).

In 2012, Cindy joined McGraw-Hill Education / CTB as a Customer Relationship and Online Account Manager. In this role, they managed approximately 170 school corporation accounts for the Indiana Department of Education's Acuity Diagnostic Assessment Program.

Most recently, Cindy has been working at Briljent since 2015. As the Business Development and Project Manager, they support local, state, and federal government agencies, as well as the private sector. Briljent specializes in instructional design, training delivery, project management, and organizational change management.

Overall, Cindy's work experience showcases their expertise in educational leadership, assessment management, curriculum training, and project management.

Cindy Hopkins has pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Western Michigan University. Cindy also attained a Master's Degree in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained an Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Wayne State University.
