Carolyn Hicks

Carolyn Hicks has a diverse range of work experience. Carolyn is currently the Co-founder and Head of Finance and Operations at Brill Power, a tech start-up company that specializes in Battery Management Systems. Carolyn has been with the company since September 2015.

Prior to that, Carolyn worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford from October 2015 to February 2017. Their role focused on analyzing and developing financing solutions for entrepreneurship, particularly for UK start-ups looking to scale-up.

In 2015, Carolyn was part of an MBA student consulting project at Zoona, where they were a member of a small team that designed a new consumer loyalty program for urban and rural consumers in Zambia. Carolyn conducted research through interviews, focus groups, and surveys with over 100 consumers.

Before that, Carolyn worked as a Transportation Planner at IBI Group from January 2010 to January 2011. Their role involved supporting and analyzing various transportation projects, including corridor planning studies and transportation master plans.
