Power Electronics Engineer at Brill Power

Florian Poinsignon has a strong background in power electronics engineering and renewable energy. Florian currently works for Brill Power, where they lead various technical endeavors and designs experimental power converters for automotive projects. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Electronic Design Engineer at Africa Power Storage, where they developed innovative solutions to provide access to renewable energy in off-grid regions of Africa. Florian also gained experience as an Electronic Design Engineer at Aleutia Computers, where they designed and developed electronic subsystems for ruggedized products. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Nottingham on a quantum graph research project, where they set up experiments, conducted testing and analysis, and implemented practical solutions to theoretical problems. Florian also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the PEMC Research Group at the University of Nottingham, where they managed the Bill of Materials and provided technical support to the Power Electronic Machine and Control Group.

Florian Poinsignon completed their Scientific French Baccalaureate from Lycée Victor Duruy in the year 2013. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Nottingham from 2013 to 2016.
