Josie Edel

Josie Edel is an experienced educator currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at Brilla Public Charter Schools since March 2024. Previously, Josie worked as a Seton Teaching Fellow at Seton Education Partners, where responsibilities included preparing engaging lesson plans, teaching literacy and math in both large and small group settings, and fostering communication with parents to enhance student growth. Josie also worked at Holy Family Catholic Schools as an Early Childhood Associate, and was involved in customer service roles at Casey's, Winnebago, and Annunciation Heights while gaining valuable skills in communication and relationship building. Josie holds a degree in Politics, Spanish, and Religious Studies from Loras College and has participated in various intercultural education programs.
