Dhananjay Wanare has amassed a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Starting in 2008, they worked at BMC Software as a Product Innovation Lead for the EMEA region. Dhananjay then joined Procter & Gamble in 2013 as an Associate Brand Manager, where they worked on Olay, Old Spice, and Gillette. In 2015, they moved to ITC Limited, initially as an Associate Brand Manager for Fiama Shower Gels and later as a Brand Manager for Charmis and Innovation (Beauty Care). In 2019, Dhananjay took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at SOCASH PTE LTD, where they grew the consumer technology brand and business in Asia. Additionally, they worked as a Mentor and Advisor for various startups across different categories, helping them shape their business ideas and overcome scale-up challenges. Most recently, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Brillare Science Private Limited in 2021, leading the design and delivery of consumer-centric beauty and personal care brands for Indian consumers.
Dhananjay Wanare has a diverse education history. Dhananjay obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology, spanning from 2003 to 2008. Dhananjay also pursued a H.S.C degree in Science from R.L.T. College of Science Akola between 2001 and 2003. Lastly, their education journey started with a High School degree from Bharat Vidyalaya Akola Maharashtra from 1997 to 2001.
In addition to their formal education, Dhananjay Wanare also achieved the certification named "DigitalMarketing1.1x: Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Social Media, and E-Commerce" from Wharton Online in August 2018.
