Jaime Yas

Jaime Yas has had a diverse range of roles in the field of human resources. They started their career as an Office Manager at Murray Brand Communications, Inc. from February 2002 to June 2007. Following that, Jaime worked as a Human Resources Generalist and Office Manager at ATTIK from June 2007 to May 2013. At ATTIK, they were responsible for managing the recruitment cycle and supporting employee relations efforts. Since joining Brilliant Earth in June 2013, Jaime has held progressively senior positions in human resources, including HR Manager, Director of HR, Vice President of HR, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of HR.

Jaime Yas holds a BA degree in Communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in December 2019 and Professional in Human Resources from HRCI in January 2013. They have also completed several courses on topics such as bystander training, communicating across cultures, confronting bias, diversity and inclusion, unconscious bias, and inclusive conversations through LinkedIn in 2020.
