Patty Rivas

Patty Rivas has extensive work experience in communications and public relations. Patty started their career as an Account Manager at Tehama Group Communications in 2004 and worked there until 2006. Patty then joined Edelman in 2007 as a Senior Account Executive, where they executed successful campaigns, managed junior staff, and worked on new business projects. In 2011, they moved to Access Brand Communications as a Senior Account Executive, leading PR campaigns for clients such as PayPal and Safeway. In 2012, they joined Ladders as a Manager, Public Relations. Since 2014, Patty has been working at Brilliant Ink, first as a Senior Strategist and currently as the Vice President of Strategy. In their current role, they serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients, manages individuals and remote project teams, supports DEI objectives, and contributes to the agency's growth strategies. Patty was also an active member of the Sacramento Public Relations Association from 2007 to 2010.

Patty Rivas has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from California State University, Chico. Patty also has completed coursework in Communications at William Paterson University of New Jersey. Additionally, Patty has obtained the Account Accelerator (TM) certificate from Account Management Skills in May 2023.
