Ben Hambrecht

Ben Hambrecht has a diverse work experience in the field of educational technology and mathematics. Ben started their career as a Software Developer in the Cosmology Research Group at ETH Zurich, where they contributed to the development of a simulation pipeline for the Dark Energy Survey. Ben then went on to work as a middle school mathematics teacher at Juventus Schulen Zürich, focusing on preparing students for high-stakes entrance exams. After that, they became a high school mathematics teacher at Kantonsschule Zürich Nord, where they also taught programming in immersive classes.

In 2015, Ben started working independently in the field of educational technology, and in 2018, they joined Brilliant.org as a Computer Science Content Creator. Ben also worked as a Video Producer for the YouTube channel 3Blue1Brown, where they created high-quality animations of mathematical topics.

Additionally, they worked as a Course Instructor at Bodenseo and is currently working as an Educational Technologist at ETH Zürich. Ben's work experience demonstrates their expertise in educational technology, mathematics, programming, and content creation.

Ben Hambrecht completed their MSc in Physics from ETH Zürich, from the years 2002 to 2007.
